Shayne and our oldest son, Chance, went to Kodiak Island AK to hunt Sitka Deer with John Arkley and Joel Ringler, Alaska Farriers and great friends. More pic's to follow when I get SMC's camera.

Shayne Carter Tools
Although his name is not known to every farrier today, those who do know him have a deep respect for the quality and precision of workmanship which he applies to his tool making.
Shayne shoes horses everyday, which is rare in the tool making business. This gives him a clarity that most toolmakers have lost. Tried and tested for over 30 years, these tools out perform any other on the market today. One of the only handmade farrier tool lines that is on the market; which makes them available on a very limited scale.
At this time, Shayne is only making hoof knives. They are available through us, Five Star Forge, Monetta Farrier Specialties, Nature Farms Farrier Supply, Wagonmound Ranch Supply, or WCB.
